Brown Ball Earrings, Japanese Mizuhiki Earrings, Japanese Craft Earrings

I made these brown ball earrings using the techinique of Mizuhiki,
Mizuhiki is one of the tradizional crafts in Japan.
It is said that the knotting of the Mizuhiki is unsolvable.
The thread like a silk is wrapped around the twisted paper( the paper becames durable)and it is made the shape of animals or trees or tied for good luck.
This decoration technique is usually used for covering gift and envelope for ceremony.
However recent years, it is also popular as an accessary.
